Usable by everyone.
People navigating an immigration process should not also have to fight the website. This page says what we aim for, how we check, and what to do if something blocks you.
Our standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, and to the standards of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act as applied through those guidelines.
What this means in practice
Every interactive control can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone, in a visible and logical order, with a clear focus indicator. Text and interface colors are checked against the 4.5:1 contrast minimum. Pages use real headings, landmarks and labels so a screen reader announces structure rather than a wall of text. Images carry meaningful alternative text, or are marked decorative when they add nothing. Status messages and errors are announced, not signalled by color alone. Text can be resized and the layout reflows without loss of content. If you have asked your system to reduce motion, animation is removed.
How we check
Accessibility is verified as part of our normal development work rather than as an occasional audit: automated checks run against the built pages, and keyboard and screen-reader passes are performed on the flows people actually use. Automated tools cannot catch everything, so human review is part of it.
Known limitations
We do not claim the site is perfect. Content on external government websites we link to is outside our control and may not meet the same standard. If you find a barrier anywhere on Visa Current, we want to hear about it — we treat it as a defect, not a suggestion.
Tell us about a problem
Email support@visacurrent.com with the page address and what happened, including the assistive technology and browser you were using if you know them. We will acknowledge your message within 5 business days and tell you what we intend to do and when. If you need information from this site in a different format while we fix it, ask and we will provide it.
